Kika Nicolela. 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0ENTRE-TEMPS (MEANTIME) is a series of 3 videos and 4 photos that were produced and first presented at old building of the Jewish Museum of Belgium. In this series, a female body establishes a dialogue with the architecture, history and the specific energy of the building. It&rsquo;s a place loaded with a heavy history: first a mansion then school, it was later occupied by the Nazis during the Second World War \u2013 who used the floor where the video was shot as a prison. More recently, the museum has been the target of a terrorist attack in which four people were killed. Nos sensibilit\u00e9s semblent s&rsquo;accorder, car en peu de mots, mais en de nombreux \u00e9changes pr\u00e9par\u00e9s ou spontan\u00e9s de musiques et d&rsquo;images, une entit\u00e9 nouvelle a pris vie. Une sorte de conversion de nos (d\u00e9)raisons respectives, donnant naissance \u00e0 un univers osmotique, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois sur une sorte de partie d&rsquo;\u00e9checs : chacun des protagonistes r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit son prochain mouvement, l&rsquo;ass\u00e8ne, et attend la r\u00e9action de son \u00ab\u00a0adversaire\u00a0\u00bb, et sur des phases plus libres : laisser la porte ouverte \u00e0 l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rimentation sur le vif.
